The Sangan Surf Shack was built by Richard Haley and Frances Riley in the fall of 2008. It was an exercise in building as organically, cheaply, and quickly as possible. There were no blueprints or plans; rather, this cabin was an evolution that depended on what materials were available and even on the state of the weather. We are excited to share this little piece of Haida Gwaii heaven with you, and hope you enjoy your stay.
